Cooperation of Four Southeastern European Countries on Environmental Information and Transboundary Collaboration

The project “Enhancing Environmental Information and Cross Border Cooperation” dealt with the elaboration of the institutional and administrative framework for the protection of the environment in Southeastern European countries (Albania, Bulgaria, FYROM and Greece). Its aim was to assist the countries concerned in developing transboundary collaboration and in promoting sustainable development, in accordance with the EU environmental acquis. The project was developed under the auspices of the Centre of European Constitutional Law and financed by the European Commission.
